
Bae Soo-bin (Korean: 배수빈), born Yoon Tae-wook on December 9, 1976, is a respected South Korean actor known for his compelling performances in both television dramas and films since his debut in 2002. He has built a reputation for expertly portraying a wide range of characters, from righteous historical figures to complex antagonists.
Bae Soo-bin initially began his acting career in 2002 with the Chinese drama The Proof of Memories before successfully transitioning to the Korean screen. Bae Soo-bin achieved widespread recognition for his work in the late 2000s and early 2010s, solidifying his status as a key supporting and leading actor. One of his most notable roles was Park Jun-se from Brilliant Legacy (2009), the kind and devoted one-sided love interest. The success of this drama led to him winning a Top 10 Stars Award at the SBS Drama Awards. He played the lead role of Soo-young in Mai Ratima (2013), which won the Jury Prize at the Deauville Asian Film Festival. He has been recognized consistently throughout his career, including winning the Best Supporting Actor award at the 2013 KBS Drama Awards for his role in Secret Love.
