Klaus-Peter Grap (born November 22, 1958, in West Berlin) is a German actor, voice actor, dubbing director, presenter, and author.
Grap made his film debut in 1980 in *Luftwaffenhelfer*. He gained particular recognition through numerous appearances in German television series and anthology shows, including *Adelheid und ihre Mörder*, *Im Namen des Gesetzes*, *Polizeiruf 110*, *Danni Lowinski*, and several films in the *Rosamunde Pilcher* series. He played lead roles in various series, including *Wie erziehe ich meinen Vater*, *Familien-Bande*, *Unter einer Decke*, and *Der Mond scheint auch für Untermieter*.
Grap has also been active as a stage actor, performing at numerous theaters, including the Schlosspark Theater, the Kammerspiele Berlin, the Komödie im Marquardt Stuttgart, and the Berlin cabaret *Die Stachelschweine*.
In 1999, he hosted the MDR talk show *Riverboat* and also worked for RTL, as well as on various gala and event formats.
Grap is particularly well known as a voice actor. He is considered the regular German voice of Michael Shanks—most notably in *Stargate SG-1*. He also voiced Lieutenant Randy Disher in *Monk*, Deputy Andy Brennan in *Twin Peaks*, and Togusa in *Ghost in the Shell*.
In 2012, he published his first novel, *Flaatsch. Ich war mal prominent* ("Flaatsch: I Used to Be Famous"), through Satyr-Verlag. Grap resides in Berlin-Wilmersdorf.
